Agreement to terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and DoLife AI, LLC ("School Failsafe," "we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of the School Failsafe website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use School Failsafe.

School Failsafe is designed exclusively for parents and legal guardians. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that:

• You are at least 18 years of age
• You are the parent or legal guardian of any children whose school information you authorize us to process via your connected inbox
• You have the legal authority to consent to processing of information about your children
• The phone number you register is your own adult phone number, not a child's phone number
• You are located in the United States

If we learn that someone under 18 has created an account, we will terminate that account and delete associated data.

Description of Service

School Failsafe is a parent-directed service that helps you manage school communications. The Service:

• Connects to your email account (e.g., Gmail) with your permission
• Processes emails accessed via your connected account to extract actionable items (events, deadlines, reminders)
• Sends email digests to your registered email address with extracted information (and optional SMS notifications if enabled)
• Provides tap-to-add calendar links for easy event scheduling

The Service is designed to assist you in managing school-related information. It is not a substitute for reading original school communications carefully.

Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Keep your account credentials secure
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service if you are under 18 years old
• Register a child's email or phone for notifications
• Connect or provide access to content you do not have the right to access or share (e.g., emails sent to someone else)
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its related systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers/networks connected to the Service
• Use automated means to access the Service without our permission
• Transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity

Email connection

When you connect your email account to School Failsafe, you authorize read-only access via OAuth. You represent that:

• You are the intended recipient of the emails we access or have permission to access them
• You have the authority to authorize us to process information contained in those emails
• For emails containing information about children, you are the parent or legal guardian of those children
• You are the authorized account holder (or parent/guardian where applicable)

You can revoke or disconnect School Failsafe's access at any time through your email provider or account settings.

SMS messaging

By registering your phone number and providing SMS consent, you agree to receive automated text messages from School Failsafe at the number provided. See our SMS Terms for full details including opt-out instructions.

Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies based on school activity and your notification settings. Reply STOP to cancel.

Subscription and payment

School Failsafe offers paid subscription plans. By subscribing, you agree to:

• Pay the applicable subscription fees
• Automatic renewal at the then-current rate unless you cancel before the renewal date
• Provide accurate payment information through our payment processor (Stripe)

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

We do not provide refunds for partial subscription periods, except as required by law or at our sole discretion.

Intellectual property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by DoLife AI, LLC and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of any content you provide or authorize us to access (such as emails from your connected account). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your content solely to provide the Service to you.

Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
• Extracted information will be complete, accurate, or up-to-date
• SMS messages will be delivered successfully by carriers
• The Service will meet your specific requirements

School Failsafe is a convenience tool and is not a substitute for reading original school communications. You remain responsible for staying informed about your children's school activities and requirements.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DOLIFE AI, LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES.

This includes, without limitation, damages arising from:

• Missed school events, deadlines, or activities
• Inaccurate or incomplete extraction of information
• SMS delivery failures or delays
• Unauthorized access to your account
• Any interruption or cessation of the Service

Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless DoLife AI, LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for any reason, including if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms.

You may terminate your account at any time by using the account deletion feature or contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

Governing law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Dispute resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

Entire agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and SMS Terms, constitute the entire agreement between you and DoLife AI, LLC regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements.
