Description

SMS is an alternative to email digests. Users who do not opt in to SMS receive email digests at their account email address instead.

We send non-marketing, time-sensitive reminders that you ask us to send (for example: early release days, closures, permission-slip deadlines). Messages are sent only to parents/guardians who enroll and configure forwarding from their own school email.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use School Failsafe Text Alerts.

• •You must register your own adult phone number — not a child's phone number
• •U.S. phone numbers and carriers are supported; availability may vary by carrier and region

Do not enroll a child's mobile number. If we learn a child's number has been enrolled, we will remove it from our system.

Opt-In

You can opt in to SMS reminders by checking the SMS consent checkbox during signup or later in your account settings (Coverage & Alerts). When you check the box, you agree to receive automated, non-marketing SMS notifications from School Failsafe (DoLife AI, LLC) at the number you provide.

SMS is optional and not required to create an account or use School Failsafe. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Parent/guardian phone numbers only (18+); do not enroll a child's number.

Opt-Out

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. You'll receive a final confirmation message and will no longer receive SMS notifications. You can also stop forwarding school emails at the source or update your preferences in your School Failsafe account.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your schools, settings, and school activity. Typically you may receive 0–6 messages per week during the school year, with more activity around major dates (start of school, holidays, testing periods).

Fees & Carrier Disclaimer

Message and data rates may apply. Please consult your wireless carrier's pricing plan for details. School Failsafe does not charge additional fees for SMS messages, but your carrier may charge standard messaging fees. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy

We respect your privacy. Phone numbers and messaging data are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Personal information in forwarded emails is stripped or tokenized before AI analysis, and raw email bodies are not stored long-term. We do not sell personal data or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Children's Privacy

School Failsafe is designed for adult parents and guardians only. We do not knowingly send SMS messages to children or collect personal information directly from children. Information about children (such as school activities) is processed only because parents choose to forward school communications to us. Emergency Use

School Failsafe does not support emergency calls or services. In an emergency, always dial 911 from your phone or contact your local emergency services directly.
